All GP practices are required to declare the mean earning (eg average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice. 

 The average pay for GPs working in the St Albans Surgery in the last financial year (ended 31 December 2018) was £80,466 before tax and National Insurance. 

This is for 3 full time GPs, 2 part-time GPs and 3 locum GP's who worked in the practice for more than six months. Updated 4th March 2020
